Peaky Midwest 2025 will be held May 16-18, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois. Registration is open now. We've hit our writer cap for this year, but feel free to register for the writer waitlist or to be a playtester!
Peaky Midwest is a weekend writing workshop focused on creating Live Action Roleplaying Games (LARPs). Peaky begins Friday evening with writing running through Saturday night. On Sunday the new games are playtested.
Participants of all skill levels, including new players, are welcome to attend as players. Attending as a writer is recommended only for people who have played at least one or two LARPs of a similar style to the ones our community generally produces.
Peaky Midwest is a the American child of the UK Peaky LARP writing workshop.
